This truck is currently owned by Phillip Via (owner of Lucky Dog). I've owned the truck for I think 5 years. Purchased it from a small dealer in Winchester, VA. The truck was a prior Fire/EMS vehicle. About a week after purchasing the truck, I was run off the of highway 220 by a tractor trailer. At the time the truck had a bed cap on it and it received some damage to the bed from the bed cap hooks and light front bumper damage. Insurance company totaled the truck due to the cost of a replacement bed. I bought it back from the insurance company, removed the bed cap, and had the state police inspect the vehicle so I could recieve a "rebuild title" and drive it. Nothing was fixed or repaired, it passed their inspection and hasn't had a problem since. Duncan Ford serviced the truck and a couple years ago I had Willie's Garage replace the manifold gasket (very common with these trucks) to the tune of about $1600. The truck has always preformed as it should, it has never let me down. I had a BW turnover ball installed in the bed to pull a gooseneck trailer ($1800 upgrade). Other than that, standard oil changes and a faulty window switch, the truck has never needed repair. It features the 6.0 V-8 gas engine and one of GMs best automatic transmissions ever. Hate to sell but, we purchased a dually for a little more towing capability. A little rust in the cab corners but, super common with these trucks. Tinted windows, A/C blows cold, recent battery, it's ready to ride. Note: About a year ago, after purchasing a 3500 replacement I sold the truck to my dad who put less than 500 miles on it. He replaced the tow mirrors with standard mirrors and added running boards. The truck was hard to get in and out of so I purchased it back. To my knowledge, I was the 2nd owner and my father the 3rd.
