Vintage Gibson Mastertone 5-String Banjo w/ Hard Case Offered is a vintage Gibson Mastertone 5-string resonator banjo featuring an ornate pearl-inlaid peghead and fingerboard, Gibson script logo, “Mastertone” fingerboard block, bound neck, mahogany-finished neck and resonator, double concentric-ring resonator decoration, chrome/nickel-tone hardware, armrest, and geared tuning machines. The interior rim retains an oval “Gibson-Mastertone Guarantee – Gibson Inc. – Kalamazoo Mich.” label. The banjo is accompanied by a fitted black hardshell case with orange plush interior and a tooled leather shoulder strap. Shows age-appropriate cosmetic wear to the instrument, hardware, strap, and case. The case exhibits exterior wear consistent with age and use. See photographs for additional details and condition.
